I don't really think that the "site" (being good people), should have to throw money at a problem created by bad people.

Umm, the site generates ad revenue, why not use some of this for normal site maintenance and preventative measures like cheat detection. I hate cheaters, they should not be able to get on the leader boards and take slots away from legitimate players.

Look, let me address any of the cheaters on this site.
First, what you're doing is easy. A talented grade-schooler could do it. A pimply high schooler could, and has. You're not proving you're a good programmer. I'm a good programmer, or at least I was. I wrote EVERYTHING and I sold it and I made millions doing it. FACT. I wrote word processors, compilers, floating-point packages, system utilities, database managers, b-tree utilities, programs to predict the stock market (yes, they worked), patched operating systems, wrote programs in assembler, machine language, and in binary, and hundreds of more things. I knew Bill Gates before his first million, Steve Wozniak, Paul Allen. I was coding before microcomputers had any kind of disk storage, I forced the stock exchanges to change how they did business by writing programs to find incorrectly-priced stock options and cashing in on their mistakes -- required only solving integral equations in real time, 10,000 times per second on a desktop computer (they said it was impossible on a mainframe). And there are people better than me now. Much better. YOU'RE NOT. You're snot-nosed kids who will get themselves into real trouble and wonder what happened. Want to know how bad it could get? Look up "Captain Crunch", the hacker. That's not a life path I would follow.

Trying to blame the site administrator for not doing enough to stop you is flat stupid. There's no reason to cheat like that in the first place. Want to see if your bot works? Play without creating a sign-on. None of your scores will count. So you WANTED your scores to count. You WANTED to make a mess. Why? Because you're infantile, because you need to be spanked, and because you're nowhere near as good as you think you are. When you've done a tenth of what I've done, come present your credentials again.

Are these knuckleheads actually online when they're pulling this crap? Bottymcbotface just played like 230 games in about 2 hours and is gunking up the 4 x 4 boards............I've already alerted the admin to delete his account and expect by later this morning he'll be long gone. However, I do think they do some slight damage by skewing the board selections for the other players, i.e. they take out all the high scoring boards for a while..............agreed, it's probably some acne-prone punk looking for attention so I don't want to spend too much time feeding the troll........

I didn't understand by "letters" she meant your garbled username. I assumed she didn't like the mocking attitude of your words about her ("LOL what rock are you living under?") I know I certainly didn't.

If you look at the world where North is up, I suppose I live BELOW a rock (it's huge), but other than that, I live in a world filled with hope (that people might think a bit more before they cheat, and worse stuff), commas, and brackets (sometimes even parenthesis).

BWT, Touche! BWT (with waaaay more eloquence, and qualifications, (but waaay fewer commas and brackets), was on the same page as me. I'm just hoping that the cheaters will think about what they are doing, and STOP doing it. I'd like the world to be kinder, and am trying to lead by example (I'm even considering storing my Offsprings telephone numbers by their names (or as least nicknames), rather than having them listed as Offspring 1, 2, 3,and 4. When said Offspring don't do the right thing, I have to leave a note on my fridge that says, "maintain the rage", otherwise I forget to be cross with them (then I can't remember what I'm supposed to be cross about...sigh).

I know this is a bit off topic, though since we're discussing cheaters, this may be relevant. In your phone, don't list these people as your children. Just put their names. If someone STEALS YOUR PHONE they may text them as if they are you asking for personal info & since you won't realize it & think its one of your children, you may comply. Whereas if you just put their names the THIEF has no idea how or if they are related to you & won't know who to contact to do that. Same with if you have a husband, mother etc ... only use their names or if you must, for organizing purposes, create some kind of lettering system that someone else wouldn't understand.

Just curious, is the pollen in Australia just as bad as in North America? Meaning are there lots of sinus sufferers @ this time of the year (late winter early spring)? I know in Melbourne in January its very HOT HOT HOT & humid and many tennis players barely can endure the heat, so I would guess my answer is yes, but thought I'd ask you since you live there.
