Okay, full confession, I actually wrote this one at a family reunion when I was about 10 or 12. My wonderful Aunt hosting the reunion had prepared opening lines of limericks on little bits of paper, which we all had to draw out of jars, and then complete, and I think this is when I first developed a kind of mania for limericks. This Aunt loved writing funny poetry, sometimes imitating the style of Ogden Nash, who was one of her favorites. Once I've written a limerick, I usually (but not always) remember it, because the process of getting it done tends to lodge it in the brain.

Pro typists can do 50-80 WPM while the REALLY FAST can go up 120 WPM. The best I could ever do, keeping errors down (that was important when I learned using an eraser for corrections), was around 30-35. This quote has 7 words. nanrich did it in 7 seconds. That equals 60 WPM. Also, some people's brains just work faster kinda like computers. So, I guess you could say that this was solved by a fast nanrich computer.

Words per minute is a meaningless statistic for this site. To use such a figure on this quote, one would have to make 42 keystrokes including spaces and punctuation. However, with automatic cursor advance and auto fill-in, one only needs 17 keystrokes to complete it.
