Trying to work a crossword, every few seconds a new advertising ad pops up. Unplayable. Won't be back till this stops. Bye. Same behavior in sudoku. Something has infected your system.

Agreed. This is making Boggle unplayable as well. I'm taken repeatedly to different websites and have to X out of them and return to the game, which is no longer fun to play. I'm out of here too. Unless I develop an unquenchable desire to be taken to a Universal Studios website against my will every few seconds.
Edited to add: Just tried again. I was taken off the Puzzle Baron website to an advertising website for Universal four times in the course of one game. Hello Admin -- what's going on?Last edited by Nester2; 02-07-2025, 10:44 PM.

Sorry about that - we're having an issue with our ad provider. I'm going to bump both of you up to premium free of charge for 1 week to fix this issue for you immediately while we are tracking down the source of the problem. In the meantime can you confirm what browser/operating system you're using? If you enjoy our puzzles, please consider upgrading to a premium account to remove all ads and help support us financially. While I am playing Wordtwist, the screen goes straight to an ad and I have to exit the ad and reclick on the typing area to type a word. It is highly annoying. I hope you can get this fixed right away. It is maddening to try to play now. I am using Chrome on a Mac

It looks like we're not going to get a solution to this until tomorrow at the earliest due to the weekend. In the meantime I'm continuing to upgrade anyone experiencing this issue to premium (ad free) free of charge for 1 week, just post here with your browser/operating system and I'll process the upgrades as I see them.
Apologies again,

No one is being ignored, as I've posted several times above we are actively working to track down the source of the problem and bumping everyone who is having issues to premium (ad free) status free of charge for a week to fix the problem for you immediately. The problem is that this started happening just before the weekend and there are limited resources available over the weekends to address ad management issues. I am working with our ad management company this morning to figure out what is happening and get an ETA on when they can get these bad ads removed. If you enjoy our puzzles, please consider upgrading to a premium account to remove all ads and help support us financially.
