Today I found QUADRATES on a board played 50 times. (20 points where the previous best word was 16 points.) I didn't take it. I did better on boards played 49 times (CYTODIFFERENTIATION) and 48 times (PALAEOCLIMATOLOGIST). On the last two, I added CYTO- and PALAEO- to the previous best words, for 36 points each.

Following DrPlacebo's calculation, on a board played 49 times I not only found a green word, I got the new best word and longest word with....BOWHEADS (14 points, 8 letters). I am nothing if not prosaic.

I would like to point out that I found this word at 11:46 pm. My weeknight bedtime should be about two hours earlier. I'm pretty sure I have a problem.
