This seems like another ridiculous statement from a conservative. What's sad is that is that it comes from a Pulitzer Prize winner, and not Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck. Why would anyone in possession of common sense not wish it to be shared with the rest of the world? A liberal in possession of common sense would gladly open the door for the police to reveal it to the rest of the world. If an extreme conservative were in possession of common sense, it would be hypocrisy not to open the door for the police, since they believe that there are too many legal technicalities that let criminals off the hook. And then, why wouldn't the conservative want to share common sense with the world? Thanks for the inanity, George Will.

Sir Thomas Beecham founded both the London Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic. Most people don't realize that the New York Philharmonic and the Chicago Symphony are actually organizations that predate both of these English institutions, though they are American Orchestras. The Staatkskapelle Dresden is actually the world's oldest orchestra, having been founded in 1548, when musical instruments were quite different.
