    A long time ago, I thought bansaquoia and bonsaquoia were an item. I pictured them both being so extremely good, and still being sympatico. LOL! (and I probably spelled both names wrong).

    If you search the member list for bans, bons, bonz, etc., you see a great many possible bansai pseudonyms. Including bonsaichainsaw

    As an old fiddler myself, I should have gotten this one faster than I did. Bansai, I saw Grappelli play live when he was in his 80s. Surely his hands were kissed by the Devil.

    The author of this quote seems to be Charles Chincholle, not not Charles Chincholles. I can only find French websites with references to him, but I have found several with Americans with the surname Chincolle.

    The original quote was partly in French before admin changed it. "partir c'est mourir un peu -- to leave is to die a little." It was really difficult.
