I feel that bansaisequoia might know some technological trick for solving these more quickly than the human mind and fingers could do

I don't use a technological trick for speed. I recommend fast living, staying out late and impure thoughts.

"If it helps to make people think a little bit more about what those ideals are, then I'll keep wearing this uniform."

Barbara Adams was an alternate juror in the Whitewater Case in the '90s. She was the one who wore a Star Trek:TNG uniform every day to the proceedings. I thought this might shed some light.

The uniform mya have been a bit over the top, but every Star Trek episode/movie conveyed an extremely high level of idealism.

(You know a guy is pretty special if he can elicit a compliment from nevadasmith68.)

"We are here on Earth to do good to others. What the others are here for, I don't know."

No one's been doing good to me. Who's not doing their job?

Sorry, it's me. I've been spending too much time solving these puzzles instead of doing good.

Is bansaisequoia a super computer? If he's not already, he should be the head of the NSC decoding messages. All of that is meant as a compliment.

One of these quotes has a comment about there being You Tube video showing Bansaisequoia solving...haven't looked at it at this point.

My thanks to bansai for this tiny vivid portrait of some unnamed dear person from years ago.

Years ago, when I went to Conservatory, I lived across the street from an attorney who could whistle all of Brahms' Symphony #2 from memory.

He would whistle it as he walked home from his office down the ice-paved sidewalks of Northern Wisconsin.

(Bansai's 10-second record for this quote has stood since February 19, 2011.)
