            Unless he's making some joke I'm not getting, it should be "straitjacket ." I find it hard to believe a noted physicist with a PhD would blow this one.

                        When Hurricane Wilma passed through in 2005, a tree was downed a couple of blocks from my house. The root structure was so extensive, it lifted four slabs of sidewalk out of the ground. Fortunately, my house was untouched, though it did knock down most of the fences and the rafters of the pool screen.
