Since most cosmologists and astrophysicists believe that the universe is about 12 to 15 billion years old, and since their highest estimates are 20 billion years, I'm wondering how the author of the quote came up with a figure of 80 billion years?

Those butterflies are real party animals. And they're always blasting Heart's "Dog And Butterfly" from the speakers of their tricked out vehicles as they go to keggers and raves. Not to mention Elton John's "Someone Saved My Life Tonight."
