              This seems especially insipid when said by a billionaire. If Gandhi or Mother Teresa had said it, okay, it might have a little meaning. If the life of pleasure is so meaningless, why didn't the billionaire give away all his money to help the downtrodden? Pleasure is unpleasing?

                  (link) This Washington Post article shows that the US has far more lax gun control than most nations. But take a look at this web page to see which nation has the highest crime rate. Obviously, loosening restrictions on possession of firearms does not decrease crime rate. (link)

                  According to FBI statistics every state that has passed laws to allow for carrying of concealed handguns by licensed individuals has seen a drop in its crime rate.
