There is an upper manager at work who recently was on a business trip across the country, and had a catsitter (from work). He found out while at a layover, that the sitter could not find the cat. He actually flew back home out of concern, and it was under the bed. LAME catsitter!

          MatthewReynolds on 2015-11-01 01:29:55
Being male I would not presume to have an opinion on what all women want. Women are individuals, and they all want different things. However, in my experience, all women seem to want lots and lots of shoes.

          abra on 2015-11-27 11:40:08
Wrong MatthewReynolds. I'm not a "shoe person", I need only four pairs or five pairs, of really comfortable shoes. They're just not a biggy in my life.

          LLapp on 2016-04-09 18:05:07
Let's see, I'm a woman and I have one pair each of walking sneakers, garden sneakers, flipflops, warm slippers, and snow boots. Plus three pairs of nice shoes for board meetings or in case somebody dies. But usually I wear flipflops.

          MatthewReynolds on 2016-05-12 01:45:49
Yes, I said "in my experience" Now I have experienced abra, who is female and does not require many shoes. In the future I shall change my observation to "most women, in my own personal experience" want lots and lots and lots of shoes.

          maradnu on 2016-06-27 15:30:45
My wife, only half jokingly, refers to her Imelda Marcos shoe collection. Then again, the entire master bedroom closet is filled with her clothes and shoes. Mine are in another room.

LLapp, sorry. I hate having my feet rubbed. I like it when people pay attention to what I'm saying (they don't have to agree). Do we have any votes against that?

I don't really like people to touch my feet, either. But I have tons of shoes. The good/bad thing about being single is, there is no one to say, 'you don't need that.'

          letfreedomring on 2016-12-27 14:07:32
Rather than be enlightened on who doesn't like to have their feet touched, it might be nice to discuss Rachel Madow's contribution to communication.

Thank you, Rachel and everyone else. I get so tired of being forced into conversations about why women vote certain ways and having to explain that we are all actually entirely separate human beings, each with our own thoughts.

Ooh....these comments just made me laugh! I have more shoes than I will ever need, but many of them are more than 30yrs old (mostly winter boots for hiking, snow-shoeing, skiing, ice-climbing) I think most men have FAR fewer shoes than most women do, although my husband comes close to having as many as I do. I just want to add that I find Rachel Maddow to be one of the smartest women in the world, and I couldn't care less about her wardrobe.

That worked for me the last time I wrote a friend's name on the wings of a dragon.

Does anybody know where I can find that dragon? The one Bansai and Pootie knew?

If I ever meet up with a dragon, I doubt my first impulse will be to write anything on its wings.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, has a lot of dragons too. You'll find him in Berk. Which I think is inhabited by English speaking Vikings.

Good advice until you get to the dragon part. Does that mean it is impossible to attract good fortune?
