Sorry if this is a repeat

I may have already posted this one, since I commented on it.

      Average time 635 seconds

And for those of you who are wondering, my comment was "Well, this one sucks."

"Strong lives are motivated by dynamic purposes." - Kenneth Hildebrand

I know, I know... after having seen some of the really difficult quotes listed here, I promised not to post anymore quotes here myself. But I really did struggle with this one.

This one is a real stumper!

"Love is our god. Lets go grab a slushie." by JD

                    or, alternatively:

"Our love is god. Lets go grab a slushie." by JD

There is no apostrophe in "lets" which makes it soooo much harder to solve.

Crito, I owe a cock to Asclepius; will you remember to pay the debt? " - Socrates

I don't know why this one was so difficult for me. I must have at least a half-dozen friends named Asclepius, and another 3 or 4 called Crito.

That's why- at least some of us- started making lists of those horribly difficult quotes once we had solved them!

Also, folks used to ask for help in the chat room, or by sending a PM to someone. I haven't really seen that in some time.

                              Anyone know this one?

Last month, I came upon a quote that killed my 100% solve rate.
I don't remember the details of it, except that it had a word that had one letter, then an apostrophe and it wasn't "o'clock".
Anybody know that quote or what that word could be?
I even tried cheating on a cryptogram solver web site and came up with nothing.
It's a pity that I waited so long to ask all you guys, because now I don't remember any other details.

i remember that quote--and i would've sworn i printed it out...but i can't find it tonight. i'll keep looking. i decided maybe it was a name, but i surely wasn't going to get it, so gave up. (interesting to hear it thwarted a much better player than i!)
