                        If the frogs are euthanized in order to be dissected, doesn't that make Mr. White's statement correct? The frog does die. I hated dissecting that frog. I could have learned as much by looking at pictures, or one of those awful movies, they showed us back then. Many frog lives would have been saved.

                        I have a good friend who made headlines back in the late 1980s for designing software that allowed a high school bio student to virtually dissect a frog. The student, like you marnita, was penalized because she refused to dissect the real frog, and she sued the school district and demanded an alternative method. With the software available, the state ruled in her favor.
